For vendors

Become a Pueblo Farmers Market vendor

Pueblo Farmers Market welcomes farmers, ranchers, bakers, makers, artists, cottage food producers, prepared food vendors, nonprofits, musicians, and community-minded small businesses. If you grow it, raise it, make it, cook it, or create it — there’s probably a place for you here.

Becoming a vendor is straightforward, but there are three things to take care of first.

1. Read the rules

Start with the 2026 PFM Rules & Regulations. It covers vendor categories, fees, market hours, booth requirements, and conduct. Reading it first will save you and our team time later — most application questions are answered there.

2. Meet your state requirements

Different vendor types have different state and federal requirements. Make sure you have what you need before you apply:

  • Cottage food producers — comply with the Colorado Cottage Foods Act, including completing the required safe food handler training and labeling products correctly.
  • Meat, poultry, and egg producers — comply with applicable USDA and Colorado Department of Agriculture rules and inspections.
  • Prepared and packaged food — secure any required Colorado retail food licenses, food handler certifications, and sales-tax licenses.
  • Produce growers and farmers — follow Colorado Department of Agriculture guidance for your operation.
  • All vendors — carry any insurance, business licenses, and tax registrations required for your business.
Cottage Foods, temporary update: In response to the temporary pause of the CSU Extension Cottage Foods program during legislative updates, Pueblo Farmers Market is temporarily allowing an exception pathway. Vendors must complete a basic safe food handler course and demonstrate proper product labeling in accordance with the Colorado Cottage Foods Act.

Not sure which rules apply to you? Email info@pueblofarmersmarket.org and we’ll help point you in the right direction.

3. Apply through Marketspread

All vendor applications go through Marketspread, our vendor management platform. Create a free vendor profile, upload photos of your products or booth, and submit your application to Pueblo Farmers Market.

Before you apply, please know

Space is limited. Each market day has a finite number of booths, and we aim for a balanced mix of farmers, food producers, makers, and community organizations so the market works well for shoppers and vendors alike.

Approval is subject to the needs of the market. Submitting an application doesn’t guarantee a booth. We review each application against current vendor mix, product overlap, available space, and market goals for the season. If we can’t accept you right now, it usually isn’t personal — and it doesn’t mean never.

Apply early, be patient, and we’ll be in touch.
